He settled in Bristol, RI, became a local fishmonger and taught his son \u201cTony\u201d the family trade of the fishing industry.<\/p>\n<p>Tony continued the business, formally establishing Tony\u2019s Seafood after his father\u2019s passing in 1947. In 1978 Tony\u2019s children expanded the business, opening a wholesale and retail operation in Seekonk, MA. In 1997 Tony\u2019s son designed a state of the art processing plant in Warren, RI which now houses the wholesale and processing division of Tony\u2019s Seafood.<\/p>\n<p>For four generations it has been the Pirri family\u2019s tradition to supply the finest in seafood and seafood products. Servicing both Retail and Wholesale, locally in Southeastern Massachusetts to the East Bay of Rhode Island and throughout the continental USA.<\/p>\n<p>Fresh caught local product is shipped daily through our HACCP certified wholesale processing facility. Working directly with local fishermen, restaurants, schools, assisted living facilities and food banks.
