- Red onion
- Scallion
- Avocado
- Jalapeno
- Sour Cream
- Salsa
- Rice and beans
- Coleslaw or jicama slaw
- Pico de gallo and tortilla chips
1 LB Medium Raw Gulf White Shrimp
4-8 Corn Tortillas
1 package Tony’s Own Taco Rub – (cumin, red pepper, chili powder, garlic powder, black pepper, and smoked paprika)
A few sprigs of cilantro
Fresh lime juice
1: Peel and devein the raw shrimp.
2: Place the cleaned shrimp into a deep bowl. Pour the contains of Tony’s Own Taco Rub onto the shrimp and mix thoroughly.
3: Sauté the shrimp in olive oil, salt and pepper until fully cooked, approx. 2-3 minutes, making sure to flip halfway.
If you prefer to grill the shrimp, insert a skewer through the middle and grill for 2-3 minutes, making sure to flip halfway.
4: Once the shrimp are fully cooked, lightly pan sear the tortillas to soften them up.
5: Assemble your tacos with any additional topping you’d like. We recommend cilantro and fresh lime juice but feel free to make them your own!
